AMIRI Wholesale Buying Guide: Compare Trousers

The AMIRI catalogue uses trouser model identifiers such as AM355 and AM352. Those numbers distinguish references; they do not describe waist measurements or a guaranteed fit. For a wholesale assortment, separate the visible leg treatment, graphic placement and overall silhouette before deciding which references belong in your mix.
The four photographed examples below show visibly different treatments, from red-backed openings to outlined motifs and large lettering. These image observations help identify the design, but not fibre composition, stretch or how the garment sits on a body. Ask for close-ups or measurements when those details affect the purchase.

Separate decoration from garment construction
- Compare the position of openings and motifs at the thigh, knee and lower leg. If the treatment itself matters, ask for the available close-up of the exact reference instead of inferring it from the model number.
- A faded-looking cover does not establish a washing process, and a narrow flat silhouette does not establish stretch. Keep decorative choices separate from the questions about fabric, closure and pocket construction.
Request waist, rise and length for each code
Measure a comfortable pair of trousers flat, then request the same measuring points for the selected reference. Clarify waist width versus circumference, front rise, inseam or outside length, and leg opening. Do not convert an S or M label into a waist number without a chart.
